Students are invited to enter the Black Belt Academy, where they are taught directly by the senior udancha, and Renshi Graham Moughton the founder of Ni Kawa kai.
The Black Belt Academy meets once a month for six months of the year for specilasation training and tutorials associated with the academic section of the Shodan grading which are held every December.
Training at our own indoor and outdoor dojo's provide the black belt candidates with concentrated tuition in the physical aspects of Bujutsu, and help the students forward towards fininshing their dissertation, a requirement for acceptance by Ni Kawa Kai for those invited to become a dan grade.
The dissertation has been structured in such a way as to help the juniors with their essay writting, and give the adults an oppertunity to research the history and discuss their own personal achivements and development within the classical martial arts as practised by Ni Kawa Kai.
